Version 1.0 · Effective from: 5th November, 2026 · Last updated: 5th November, 2026
1. About these Terms
1.1 These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the PehchanKon Guard App (“Guard App”), the PehchanKon Committee Dashboard (“Committee Dashboard”) and the related servers, software and services (together, the “Guard Services”). The Guard Services are owned and operated by Vsolwit Industries Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 (CIN U70200RJ2026PTC111896), with its registered office at D-240, Jagdamba Nagar, Behind Heerapura Powerhouse, Ajmer Road, Jaipur 302021, Rajasthan, India, and offered under the brand “PehchanKon” (“Vsolwit”, “PehchanKon”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
1.2 These Terms apply to every person who uses the Guard Services, including Guards and Authorised Society Users (“you”). By logging in, or by tapping “I agree” when asked, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Guard Services.
1.3 The Society that has opted for the Guard Services has separately accepted the Society Service Terms. These Terms add to the general PehchanKon Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy published on pehchankon.com. For the Guard Services, if there is any conflict, these Terms, the Society Service Terms and the Guard Services Privacy Policy prevail.
1.4 These Terms are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it. They are generated by a computer system and do not need a physical or digital signature.
2. Definitions
In these Terms and in the other documents in this set:
- “Society” means a residential society, resident welfare association, apartment owners' association, cooperative housing society or other body that manages a residential premises and has opted for PehchanKon services that include the Guard Services.

- “Guard” means a security person deployed at a gate of the Society, whether employed directly by the Society or by a Security Agency.
- “Security Agency” means a third party appointed by the Society to provide security personnel. Vsolwit does not currently provide security personnel.
- “Resident” means an owner, tenant or co-resident of a flat in the Society who is registered on PehchanKon.

- “Service Level” means the level of Guard Services (currently L1, L2, L3 or L4) that the Society has opted for. The Service Level decides which features are available.
- “Gate Radius” means the distance from the Society's gate location, set by the Society, within which the Guard App can be used to log in and record entries.
- “Society Data” means all personal data and other information entered, uploaded, captured or generated through the Guard Services for a Society.

3. Eligibility and accounts
3.1 You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to use the Guard Services.
3.2 Guard accounts are created only by an Authorised Society User through the Committee Dashboard, using the Guard's name, a unique guard code and a registered photograph. Guards cannot sign up on their own.
3.3 Authorised Society User accounts are created by Vsolwit, or by another Authorised Society User with the required role, on the Society's instructions.
3.4 You are responsible for all activity under your account. Keep your guard code and login details confidential. Do not share them, and do not let anyone else log in or record entries as you. Tell your Society and us immediately if you think your account has been misused.
4. How the Guard App works
4.1 Login verification. A Guard logs in by entering their guard code and taking a live selfie with the front camera. The code and selfie are sent to our servers and matched against the Guard's registered record and photograph using our in-house face-matching technology. The login time is recorded. If verification fails, the Guard may try again.
4.2 Location check. Login and use of the Guard App are allowed only when location services are on and the device is within the Gate Radius. Logout is allowed from any location.
4.3 Sessions. A session stays active if the app is closed or sent to the background, the phone is locked, or the network is lost. A session ends when the Guard logs out, or automatically at the end of the Guard's shift as set by the Society, whichever happens first. A Guard working overtime may log in again after an automatic logout. A logout takes effect only once our servers confirm it.
4.4 Visitor entries. A Guard may record a Visitor's entry (a) by checking a Gatepass code and submitting the entry, or (b) by creating a manual entry with the flat number(s) being visited, the reason for the visit, the vehicle number and, where given or enabled, the Visitor's name and phone number and photographs of the vehicle or Visitor. A Gatepass may be valid for a single entry or for multiple entries, as set when it is issued. If a Gatepass is rejected, the Guard may still make a manual entry where the Society allows it.
4.5 Exit. A Visitor is shown as inside until a Guard records their exit. The expiry of a Gatepass does not record an exit.
4.6 Features by Service Level. The features you see depend on the Society's Service Level, which the Guard App reads from our servers at login. Some features, such as Resident approval of walk-in Visitors, are available only at higher Service Levels. If the Society changes its Service Level, the change appears at your next login.
4.7 Flat lists, occupancy status and Gatepass details are supplied by the Society and Residents. We do not check that they are accurate.
5. Committee Dashboard
5.1 Authorised Society Users may use the Committee Dashboard to register and remove Guards, upload Guard photographs, set gates, the Gate Radius and shift timings, view Visitor logs and Guard login and logout records, and manage other settings available at the Society's Service Level.
5.2 An Authorised Society User who uploads a Guard's photograph, including from a device gallery, confirms that the Society has informed the Guard and obtained any consent the law requires.
5.3 Authorised Society Users may access Society Data only for the Society's security, visitor management and parking management, and only to the extent their role needs.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- share your guard code, or log in for or as another person;
- try to get around face verification or the location check, for example by using a photo, video, mask or another person's face, or a location-spoofing app or emulator;
- record false, incomplete or misleading entries or exits, or record an exit before the Visitor has left;
- take photographs other than those the Guard App asks for (the vehicle, number plate or Visitor, as enabled), or photograph Residents, their homes or private areas without need;
- copy, export, screenshot, share or use Society Data outside the Guard Services, or for any personal, commercial or unlawful purpose;
- use information from the Guard Services to harass, threaten, discriminate against or embarrass any Visitor, Resident or Guard;
- copy, modify, reverse engineer or decompile the Guard Services, try to access our source code, servers or another Society's data, or interfere with any security feature;
- upload malware, or use bots, scripts or other automated means with the Guard Services; or
- use the Guard Services in breach of any law.
We may suspend or end your access if you breach this clause, and we may inform the Society.
7. Devices, permissions and connectivity
7.1 Depending on the Society's Service Level and arrangements, the Guard App may run on a device provided by Vsolwit, a device provided by the Society or Security Agency, or the Guard's own phone. Terms for devices provided by Vsolwit are set out in the Society Service Terms.
7.2 The Guard App needs permission to use the camera and location, and an internet connection. If these are not available, the Guard App may not work.
7.3 If you use your own phone, you are responsible for the phone, its security and your data charges. Log out, and remove the app, when you stop working at the Society.
7.4 We may release updates to the Guard App. Some updates may be required to keep using it.
8. Intellectual property
8.1 All rights in the Guard Services, including the PehchanKon name and logo, software, designs and content, belong to Vsolwit or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Guard Services only for the Society's purposes, and only while the Society authorises you. No other rights are granted.
8.2 If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
9. Personal data
How we process personal data is explained in the Guard Services Privacy Policy. For data about Guards and Visitors, the Society decides why and how the data is processed (it is the Data Fiduciary) and Vsolwit processes it on the Society's behalf (as its Data Processor).
10. Not a security service
10.1 The Guard Services are a record-keeping and verification tool. They are not a security, guarding or surveillance service, and they do not replace the Society's own security arrangements.
10.2 Guards are not employees, agents or contractors of Vsolwit. Vsolwit does not hire, train, supervise or control Guards, and is not responsible for how they act.
10.3 The Guard Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. Face matching, location checks, flat search and other features that depend on devices, networks or data supplied by others may sometimes be inaccurate, delayed or unavailable. We do not promise that the Guard Services will be uninterrupted or error-free. Please also read the Disclaimer.
11. Limitation of liability
11.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vsolwit and its directors, employees and partners are not liable for: theft of, loss of or damage to any property or vehicle; unauthorised entry; personal injury; the acts or omissions of Guards, Security Agencies, Residents, Visitors or Authorised Society Users; incorrect or incomplete entries; errors in face verification or location checks; downtime, delays or loss of data caused by networks, devices, hosting providers or events beyond our reasonable control; or any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or loss of profit, goodwill or data.
11.2 Vsolwit's total liability to a Society is limited as set out in the Society Service Terms. Individual users do not pay Vsolwit for the Guard Services; where liability to an individual user cannot be excluded by law, Vsolwit's total liability to that user for all claims will not exceed INR 1,000.
11.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law, such as liability for fraud.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Vsolwit against any loss, claim or expense arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Guard Services or Society Data, or your breach of any law or third-party right.
13. Suspension and termination
13.1 The Society may remove a Guard or Authorised Society User at any time.
13.2 We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, if there is a security risk, if the Society asks us to, or if the Society's Guard Services end.
13.3 When your access ends, your licence to use the Guard Services ends. Clauses 8 and 10 to 16 continue to apply.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will publish the updated Terms on pehchankon.com and, for significant changes, tell you through the Guard App, the Committee Dashboard or by email. If you keep using the Guard Services after the update takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.
15. Governing law and disputes
15.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
15.2 If a dispute arises, please contact our Grievance Officer first. The parties will try to settle the dispute amicably within 30 days of a written notice describing it.
15.3 A dispute not settled within that time will be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, by a sole arbitrator appointed by mutual agreement of the parties or, failing agreement, in accordance with that Act. The seat and venue of arbitration will be New Delhi, the language will be English, and the award will be final and binding.
15.4 Subject to clause 15.3, the courts at New Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction, including for interim relief.
15.5 Nothing in this clause limits any right you have under the DPDP Act to approach the Data Protection Board of India after using our grievance redressal process.
16. General
16.1 If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest continues to apply. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver of it.
16.2 We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to an affiliate or to a successor of our business. You may not transfer yours.
16.3 We are not responsible for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as power or network failures, natural disasters, epidemics, government action or attacks on our systems.

2. Society Service Terms — PehchanKon Guard Services
Version 1.0 · Effective from: 5th November, 2026 · Last updated: 5th November, 2026
1. Scope and acceptance
1.1 These Society Service Terms (“Society Terms”) form a contract between Vsolwit Industries Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 (CIN U70200RJ2026PTC111896), with its registered office at D-240, Jagdamba Nagar, Behind Heerapura Powerhouse, Ajmer Road, Jaipur 302021, Rajasthan, India (“Vsolwit”) and the Society for the Guard Services. Words defined in the Terms of Use have the same meaning here.
1.2 The Society accepts these Society Terms when it signs an order form or agreement that refers to them, or when an Authorised Society User accepts them on the Committee Dashboard or first uses the Guard Services. The person accepting confirms that they are authorised to bind the Society.
1.3 These Society Terms apply together with any order form, proposal or agreement for PehchanKon services between Vsolwit and the Society (“Commercial Terms”). If there is a conflict, the Commercial Terms prevail on pricing, term and devices, and these Society Terms prevail on the Guard Services and on data.
2. The Guard Services and Service Levels
2.1 Vsolwit will provide the Guard App and the Committee Dashboard at the Service Level the Society has opted for. The features of each Service Level are described in Vsolwit's product material or the Commercial Terms.
2.2 The Society may ask to change its Service Level. The change appears to Guards at their next login.
2.3 Vsolwit may improve, change or remove features. If a change significantly reduces the features available at the Society's Service Level, Vsolwit will give at least 30 days' notice.
3. Charges
3.1 The Guard Services are provided as part of the PehchanKon services that Vsolwit provides to the Society, and are not charged separately.
3.2 Charges for other PehchanKon services, such as QR stickers, subscriptions and, where applicable, devices, are set out in the Commercial Terms.
3.3 Vsolwit may introduce separate charges for the Guard Services or for a Service Level only after giving at least 30 days' written notice. The Society may stop using the Guard Services before any such charge applies. All charges are exclusive of applicable taxes.
4. Free trial
4.1 Vsolwit may offer the Society a free trial or pilot of the Guard Services for a period communicated in writing.
4.2 During a free trial, the Guard Services are provided “as is”, without any service commitment, and either party may end the trial at any time by written notice (email is enough).
4.3 At the end of the trial, the Society may continue under the Commercial Terms. If it does not, the trial ends and Society Data is handled as set out in clause 12.
5. The Society's responsibilities
The Society will:
5.1 appoint its Authorised Society Users, keep the list up to date, and be responsible for their acts;
5.2 register Guards with accurate details and lawfully obtained photographs, and make sure every Guard (including Guards supplied by a Security Agency) is informed about, and has given any consent the law requires for, selfie verification and location checks. The Guard App shows the Guard Consent Notice at first login. The Society will make sure its contract with any Security Agency allows this, and will decide another way to record the duty of any Guard who does not consent;
5.3 remove Guards and Authorised Society Users promptly when they leave or are no longer authorised;
5.4 set the gate location, Gate Radius and shift timings correctly;
5.5 keep its flat list and occupancy status accurate;
5.6 display a visitor notice at every gate where the Guard Services are used, in English and in Hindi or the local language. A template is provided in Annex A;
5.7 respond to requests from Guards, Visitors and Residents about their personal data, with Vsolwit's help as set out in Schedule 1;
5.8 use the Guard Services and Society Data only for the security, visitor management and parking management of the Society and in line with the law, and not for profiling, discrimination, marketing or sale;
5.9 make sure its Guards and Security Agency follow the Terms of Use, and be responsible for their acts and omissions; and
5.10 maintain its own security arrangements. The Guard Services do not replace them.
6. Devices
6.1 Depending on the Service Level and the Commercial Terms, the Guard App may run on (a) a device provided by Vsolwit, (b) a device provided by the Society or its Security Agency, or (c) a Guard's own phone.
6.2 Devices provided by Vsolwit. Unless the Commercial Terms say the device is sold to the Society: (a) the device remains Vsolwit's property; (b) it may be used only for the Guard Services at the Society; (c) the Society is responsible for its safe custody and charging, and for its loss, theft or damage other than normal wear and tear, and will pay the repair or replacement cost at Vsolwit's then-current rates; (d) Vsolwit may manage the device remotely, including installing updates, locking it and removing app data; and (e) the Society will return it in working condition within 15 days after the Guard Services end.
6.3 Other devices. Vsolwit is not responsible for devices provided by the Society, a Security Agency or a Guard, for their compatibility beyond the minimum requirements Vsolwit publishes, or for data charges.
7. Availability and support
7.1 Vsolwit will use reasonable efforts to keep the Guard Services available, but does not guarantee any level of availability unless the Commercial Terms say so. Planned maintenance will, where possible, be scheduled outside peak gate hours.
7.2 Support is available at contact@vsolwit.com and +91 74283 00828 during business hours.
8. Data protection
Schedule 1 (Data Processing Terms) forms part of these Society Terms and applies to all Society Data.
9. Intellectual property and data
9.1 Vsolwit owns the Guard Services and all related intellectual property. The Society owns the Society Data.
9.2 The Society grants Vsolwit permission to process Society Data to provide, maintain, secure and support the Guard Services. Vsolwit may also use aggregated data that does not identify any individual or Society to analyse and improve its services.
9.3 Vsolwit will use Guard selfies and registered photographs only to verify that Guard for the Society, and for no other purpose.
10. Warranties and disclaimers
10.1 Each party confirms that it is authorised to enter into these Society Terms. The Society confirms that it has the right to provide the Society Data to Vsolwit and to have it processed as described.
10.2 The Guard Services are a record-keeping and verification tool, not a security service. Guards are not employees, agents or contractors of Vsolwit.
10.3 Except as expressly stated, the Guard Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, and Vsolwit gives no other warranty, express or implied, including about accuracy of face verification, location checks or entries, or fitness for a particular purpose.
11. Limitation of liability
11.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vsolwit is not liable for: theft of, loss of or damage to any property or vehicle; unauthorised entry; personal injury; the acts or omissions of Guards, Security Agencies, Residents, Visitors or Authorised Society Users; incorrect or incomplete entries; errors in face verification or location checks; downtime or delays; or any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or loss of profit, goodwill or data.
11.2 Vsolwit's total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Guard Services will not exceed the total fees actually paid by the Society to Vsolwit for PehchanKon services in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Where no fees have been paid, including during a free trial, Vsolwit's liability is excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law.
11.3 Nothing in these Society Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law, such as liability for fraud.
12. Term, suspension and termination
12.1 These Society Terms apply for as long as the Society uses the Guard Services, whether under a free trial or the Commercial Terms.
12.2 Either party may end the Guard Services by giving 30 days' written notice. Either party may end them immediately by written notice if the other commits a material breach that is not fixed within 15 days of notice, or becomes insolvent.
12.3 Vsolwit may suspend the Guard Services, fully or in part, if there is a security risk, if the Guard Services are being used unlawfully, or if charges under the Commercial Terms remain unpaid after notice.
12.4 When the Guard Services end: (a) all access ends; (b) the Society may ask Vsolwit, within 30 days, for an export of Society Data that is still within its retention period; (c) Vsolwit will then delete Society Data as set out in the Data Retention and Deletion Policy; and (d) the Society will return any Vsolwit devices under clause 6.2.
12.5 Clauses 9 to 11 and 13 to 16 and Schedule 1 continue to apply after the Guard Services end, for as long as needed.
13. Indemnity
The Society will indemnify Vsolwit, its directors and employees against any loss, claim, penalty or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from claims by Guards, Security Agencies, Residents, Visitors, authorities or other third parties that relate to: (a) the acts or omissions of the Society's Guards, Security Agency or Authorised Society Users; (b) the Society's failure to give notices or obtain consents required by law; (c) inaccurate data supplied by the Society; (d) the Society's breach of these Society Terms or of any law; or (e) the misuse of Society Data by anyone acting for the Society.
14. Confidentiality
Each party will keep the other's non-public business information confidential, use it only for the purposes of these Society Terms, and disclose it only to people who need to know it or where the law requires.
15. Changes
Vsolwit may update these Society Terms. It will give the Society at least 30 days' notice of significant changes by email or on the Committee Dashboard. If the Society keeps using the Guard Services after the change takes effect, it accepts the updated Society Terms.
16. Governing law, disputes and general terms
16.1 These Society Terms are governed by the laws of India.
16.2 The parties will first try to settle any dispute amicably within 30 days of written notice. A dispute not settled within that time will be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, by a sole arbitrator appointed by mutual agreement or, failing agreement, in accordance with that Act. The seat and venue of arbitration will be New Delhi and the language will be English. Subject to this, the courts at New Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction, including for interim relief.
16.3 The parties are independent contractors. Neither may assign these Society Terms without the other's consent, except that Vsolwit may assign them to an affiliate or a successor of its business. Neither party is liable for delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control. If any part is found invalid, the rest continues to apply. These Society Terms, the Commercial Terms and the documents they refer to are the entire agreement on the Guard Services.
16.4 Notices to Vsolwit: contact@vsolwit.com, with a copy to the registered office. Notices to the Society: the email address of its primary Authorised Society User.
Schedule 1 — Data Processing Terms
1. Roles
1.1 For Society Data, the Society is the Data Fiduciary and Vsolwit is the Data Processor, as those terms are used in the DPDP Act.
1.2 Vsolwit is a separate Data Fiduciary only for the account details of Authorised Society Users, technical and usage data, and website data, as described in the Privacy Policy.
2. Instructions
Vsolwit will process Society Data only on the Society's instructions, which are these Society Terms and the settings the Society chooses on the Committee Dashboard, and as required by law. Vsolwit will tell the Society if it believes an instruction breaks the law.
3. What is processed and why
4. Vsolwit's obligations
4.1 Confidentiality. Vsolwit will make sure its personnel who access Society Data are bound by confidentiality.

4.3 Sub-processors. Vsolwit uses Hostinger to host the servers on which Society Data is stored, and may use messaging providers for notifications at Service Levels that use them. Vsolwit may add or replace sub-processors and will tell the Society on request or through its policies. Vsolwit remains responsible for its sub-processors.
4.4 Location. Society Data is stored on servers provided by Hostinger. Society Data will be transferred outside India only where permitted under Section 16 of the DPDP Act.

4.7 Retention and deletion. Vsolwit will keep and delete Society Data as set out in the Data Retention and Deletion Policy, unless the Society instructs a shorter period or the law requires a longer one.

4.2 We use them only to confirm that the person logging in is the Guard registered by the Society. Face matching is done by our own in-house technology on our servers. We do not send selfies or photographs to any outside face-recognition service.
4.3 We ask each Guard for consent through the Guard Consent Notice before their first login. We do not sell biometric data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone other than the Society that registered the Guard, except where the law requires.
4.4 Live selfies are deleted 90 days after they are taken. The registered photograph is kept while the Guard is registered with the Society.
5. Location
The Guard App uses the device's location at login and while it is in use, only to check that it is within the Gate Radius set by the Society. We do not track a Guard's location continuously, in the background or after logout. Logout works from any location.
6. How we use personal data

- To record Visitor entries and exits, show who is inside, and support the Society's security and parking management.

8. Who we share data with
- The Society and its Authorised Society Users, who can see Guard records and Visitor logs for their Society only.
- Residents, who can see the entry history of their own flat at Service Levels that include it.
- Service providers who help us run the Guard Services, such as Hostinger (server hosting) and messaging providers for notifications, under contracts that require them to protect the data.
- Authorities such as police, courts or regulators, when the law requires.
- A buyer or successor of our business, under the same protections, if our business is reorganised or sold.
9. Where data is stored
Data is stored on servers provided by Hostinger. If data is transferred outside India, this will be done only where permitted under Section 16 of the DPDP Act.
10. How long we keep data
Full details, including exceptions, are in the Data Retention and Deletion Policy.
11. How we protect data
We take reasonable security safeguards to prevent personal data breaches, including measures such as encryption of data in transit, role-based access so that each Society sees only its own data, and logging of access. No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your data, we will inform the Society and, where required, the Data Protection Board of India and affected persons.
12. Your rights
Subject to the law, you have the right to:
- get a summary of your personal data and how it is processed;
- have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected, completed or updated;
- have data erased when it is no longer needed, unless the law requires us or the Society to keep it;
- withdraw consent at any time (for a Guard, this means the Guard App can no longer be used for that Guard's login; withdrawal does not affect processing already done);
- have your grievances addressed; and
- nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become incapable.
How to exercise these rights: Guards and Visitors may contact their Society or our Grievance Officer. If you contact us about Society Data, we will pass your request to the Society and help it respond. Committee members may contact us directly.
13. Children
The Guard Services may not be used by anyone under 18. The Guard Services are not designed to collect data about children. If a Visitor is under 18, the Society is responsible for handling their data lawfully, and Guards should record only what is needed for entry.
14. Cookies
The Committee Dashboard uses essential cookies to keep you logged in and secure. If we use analytics cookies on pehchankon.com, we will say so on the website. You can control cookies in your browser settings, but the Committee Dashboard may not work without essential cookies.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will publish the updated version on pehchankon.com and, for significant changes, tell users through the Guard App, the Committee Dashboard or by email.

4. Guard Consent Notice (shown in the Guard App before first login)
English
Before you start: how this app uses your photo and location
- Your society uses this app to record who comes in and goes out of the gate. The app is run for your society by Vsolwit Industries Private Limited (PehchanKon).
- To log you in, the app takes a live selfie and matches it with the photo your society registered for you. This confirms that you are the guard on duty.
- The app checks your phone's location when you log in and while you use it, to make sure you are at the gate. It does not check your location after you log out.
- Your login and logout times are recorded. Your society can see them.
- Your selfies are kept for 90 days, and your login and logout records for 12 months. Then they are deleted.
- Your selfies are not sold or given to anyone for advertising. They are used only to check that it is you.
- You can ask your society or our Grievance Officer to show, correct or delete your data, or to take back your consent. If you take back your consent, you will not be able to log in to this app. Talk to your society about another way to record your duty.
- Grievance Officer: Amit Dabral, amit@vsolwit.com, +91 99108 22701.

5. Data Retention and Deletion Policy
Version 1.0 · Effective from: 5th November, 2026 · Last updated: 5th November, 2026
1. Purpose
This policy explains how long Vsolwit keeps personal data in the PehchanKon Guard Services and how it is deleted. It applies to the Guard App, the Committee Dashboard and the related servers. Words defined in the Terms of Use have the same meaning here.
2. Retention periods
3. When a Society's Guard Services end
3.1 The Society may ask for an export of Society Data that is still within its retention period, before the Guard Services end or within 30 days after.
3.2 After that 30-day window, Vsolwit will delete the Society's data from its live systems within a further 30 days. Copies in backups are removed in the normal backup cycle, within 90 days.
3.3 At the end of a free trial that does not continue, the same timelines apply.
4. Exceptions
We may keep specific data longer only where the law requires it, where an authority or court has asked us to preserve it, or where it is needed for an active dispute or investigation. We keep only what is needed, for only as long as needed, and then delete it.
5. Shorter periods
A Society may ask for shorter retention periods for its data. Where the Committee Dashboard allows it, the Society can set these itself.
6. How to delete your account or data
Guards and committee members do not create their own accounts; the Society creates them. To have your account or data deleted:
- Guards: ask your Society to remove you from the Committee Dashboard, or email our Grievance Officer at amit@vsolwit.com with your name, guard code (if you know it), Society name and phone number.
- Committee members: ask another committee member to remove you, or email amit@vsolwit.com.
- Visitors: contact the Society you visited, or email amit@vsolwit.com with the date, Society and vehicle number of your visit.
We will confirm the request with the Society where needed and complete deletion within 30 days. Records that the Society needs to keep, such as login and logout records and Visitor logs, are kept until the end of their retention period above and then deleted.
This page is the web page for account and data deletion requests for the PehchanKon Guard App.
